You will take ownership of submissions to Group Finance and Group FP&A, and finance business partner support to the Corporate functions.In this role you will:Lead the Corporate support functions finance team through periodic reporting, forecasting and planning across the Corporate support functions and other corporate segment entities.Drive improvement of processes with onshore and offshore team including automation, process design and efficiencies.Business partner the corporate support functions. Coordinate regular review meetings, provide analysis and perspective to support decision making.Implement internal controls and encourage appropriate risk management behaviours to minimize financial and operational risk.Ensure effective planning to meet Group deadlines, liaising with functional areas to ensure relevant inputs are obtained in sequence.Independently investigate, problem solve and exercise sound judgement to provide recommendations and support to the Director, Corporate Services as required.Review taxation reporting obligations including BAS, tax affect accounting calculations, annual tax returns and share capital tainting analysis for Corporate entities.Liaise with external auditors and coordinate the team's response to queries.Enhance reporting to business units through use of technology such as Business Intelligence.Your point of differenceTo be successful, you will have prior management and financial accounting experience, preferably within Corporate Finance. You have demonstrable stakeholder management skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships within both finance and non-finance stakeholders across the Mirvac Group. You will be CA/CPA qualified with appropriate tertiary qualifications. Strong communication and people management skills are a must, with the capability to engage, lead, and develop a team in a collaborative way irrespective off if they are in an onshore or offshore capacity. You have proven experience with process review and improvement, with the ability to work autonomously and make considered recommendations.
