Our client, a reputable machinery servicing company based in Bankstown, Sydney, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their leadership team. This position will report directly to the Managing Director and oversee the financial management of the Australian entity, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The Finance Manager will lead a small finance team, focusing on budgeting, reporting, and compliance to drive financial stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Operations: Manage daily financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger tasks.Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets, oversee financial forecasting, and conduct variance analysis to support business planning.Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements for the Australian entity.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow to support operational needs, investments, and organisational health.Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, financial standards, and company policies; coordinate annual audits with external auditors.Cost Control: Drive cost-saving initiatives, manage expenses, and work to improve profitability.Strategic Advisory: Provide financial insights and support to the Managing Director for informed decision-making and strategic planning.Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; CPA or CA qualification necessary.5+ years in a financial management role, ideally within the machinery, industrial services, or manufacturing sectors.Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide and develop team members.Strong understanding of financial principles, local tax requirements, and compliance.Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.

Salary: AUD150,000 - AUD160,000 per annum + Super + Bonus
