We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our client's team in Government and contribute to the success of the Department through impeccable financial management and streamlined administrative processes.

The key duties in this role will include but not limited to:
Leadership: Lead the provision of high-level financial analysis and advice on a diverse range of budget management, resource allocation and financial performance matters. Lead a team including management accountants (budgets and forecasts), debt management, procurement, and reconciliations. Budget: Lead the development and monitoring of the Department's budget including the preparation of materials, analysis, and adjustments. Be ready to roll your sleeves up when required. Lead improvement strategies: Lead financial management improvement strategies and other complex issues, proposals, and reports. Represent: in high-level negotiations and discussions and provide business advice based on a solid financial budget understanding. About You
The successful candidate will be an adaptive leader, solutions-focused, and a self-starter. Having worked in a similar position previously, you bring a proven track record of successful financial management and a keen grasp of financial and business acumen.
