Who we're looking for: As part of the finance team, the Accountant, will work closely with the with all members of the corporate finance team in the provision of accounting, taxation and to assist in the streamlining and automating of administration process and providing support to the finance team as required. The Accountant will be involved in monthly finance tasks and will support the team: Coding and posting of large invoices to correct business units Processing of various month end journals Assist with transactional analysis and preparation of FBT, BAS and income tax processes. Assist with preparation of reports to various external stakeholders Assist with automation of various administration process Provide assistance when required to the General Manager Finance & Audit The successful candidate will be a self-starter with: Degree in Commerce or Business with a major in accounting Previous general ledger experience preferred Ability to establish and maintain relationships across different functions in the business Attention to detail Previous experience in a similar role is essential Effective verbal and written communication skills. Has a commitment to a high work standard and work ethic. Confidence in communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
