You will be joining a consulting partner on a high-profile multi-year transformation engagement within the Healthcare sector. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Macquarie business park 2113 with 3 days on site.
Role Overview:
You will be joining a platform transformation project. As the Finance Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing financial data and creating insightful reports and visualizations using Microsoft Fabric. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, support business decision-making, and drive financial performance. This is a unique opportunity to apply your finance and data analytics expertise within a dynamic Microsoft environment.
Key responsibilities:
Work with financial data using Microsoft Fabric to analyze, clean, and transform large datasets.Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI to visualize financial trends, performance metrics, and key insights.Use data modeling techniques to forecast financial outcomes and assist in budgeting, planning, and financial performance analysis.Support the integration and analysis of data from multiple sources Required Skills and Experience: 4+ years of experience in financial data analysis, preferably with experience in cloud-based data platformsProficiency with Microsoft Fabric and its components, including Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data FactoryMicrosoft AX or Dynamics F and O experience is highly advantageousStrong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial metrics, accounting principles, and financial reporting.Experience in building and maintaining data models, dashboards, and reports using Power BI.Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.Familiarity with ETL processes and working with structured and unstructured datasets.Familiarity with data governance and ensuring data quality across financial systems.
