The Finance Business Partner plays a proactive, solutions-oriented role as an integral part of the South Coast Radiology (SCR) senior leadership team to support decision-making and drive the business unit's performance and delivery of strategic objectives.
The Finance Business Partner provides targeted analysis and meaningful insights into business performance through their knowledge of the radiology market drivers.
ABOUT THE ROLE Business Support Identifying areas of potential business risk, underperformance or opportunity and working with other areas of the business to proactively manage theseLead the development, review and enhancement of business cases, including supporting financial modelsCoach and build business acumen with key stakeholders in financial knowledge and the use of information systems to determine revenue, cost and budget/forecast outcomesProvide financial governance to the SCR business unit, ensuring the appropriate treatment of operating and capital expenditurePrepare annual budget in consultation with the General Manager (GM) and senior leadership teamCo-facilitate the presentation of the annual budget for SCR to the IDX Executive teamPrepare monthly forecasts in conjunction with the GM and senior leadership team, including detailed variance analysisPrepare financial models and analysis to understand key drivers and risksCollaborate with the wider IDX Finance team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the business unit ledgerPrepare and present monthly financial reports for the GM of SCR and senior leadership team, including detailed variance analysis vs budget, prior year and forecastManage key areas of accounting risks where significant judgements or estimates are requiredAssist in the preparation of monthly and annual reporting requirementsProjects Participate in continuous improvement of key information systems, processes and procedures to ensure they align with best practiceAssist with other duties as directed by the GM - Finance or General Manager of SCR as requiredABOUT YOU Tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting with membership of a professional accounting body (CPA/CA)Demonstrated commercial acumen or experience partnering with operational management teamsA proven ability to deliver accurate financial reports in a time-pressured environmentHigh level of computer literacy, advanced spreadsheet skills and familiarity with commercial ERP functionality - Workday experience highly regardedExcellent organisational skills and ability to coordinate a number of initiatives simultaneously, including the ability to prioritise, plan and execute a range of transformative projectsStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills that allow you to influence changeDemonstrate enthusiasm, commitment, and consistent focus on achieving resultsFOR YOU Competitive Salary: Attractive salary with annual reviews to recognize your contributions.Paid Parental Leave: Additional leave to support new parents.Fitness Passport: Access to over 1000 locations nationwide to support your fitness goals.Employee Discounts: Discounts at hundreds of retailers for everyday expenses, holidays, health insurance, and more.Recognition Programs: Celebrate outstanding performance and dedication through our recognition platforms.Referral Bonuses: Financial incentives for referring great talent to our team.Career Advancement: Opportunities for career growth and succession planning within an innovative company.How to Apply: Simply submit your resume by selecting APPLY.
