The Qantas Group's main business is the transportation of customers and freight using two complementary airline brands — Qantas and Jetstar — operating regional, domestic, and international services.Job DescriptionChallenge yourself to support the Finance Business Partnering mandate for business units in the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) portfolio.Collaborate closely with senior internal stakeholders to deliver high quality financial planning & analysis, investment review, and constructive challenge.Permanent full-time role based at our Mascot Campus.As the Finance Business Partner, you will:Partner with the business to provide effective planning, analysis, and advice on all financial performance management aspects with respect to financial control & governance, financial performance delivery, and management reporting requirements.Support and challenge appropriate targets, transformation initiatives, and processes that are in place to meet the Divisional and Business unit performance requirements.Lead, support, and advise key senior Finance, Commercial, and Operational stakeholders across the business on financial policies, business performance management, and advice on key commercial and operational decisions.Provide thought leadership for continuous improvement of the central finance function whilst driving the interaction with respective Financial Controller and FBP leads across the segment.You'll Have5-7 years+ relevant experience.Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Business, or other relevant discipline.CPA/CA equivalent.Extensive financial knowledge and experience (typically gained through CPA/CA/equivalent).Ability to positively influence stakeholders to overcome roadblocks to deliver successful outcomes.Superior communication and influencing skills.Intellectual capability to quickly understand, apply, and embed new concepts in a complex business environment.Strong sense of urgency, focus on outcomes, and drive for success.Ability to work in cross-functional teams and lead to successful business outcomes.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise conflicting objectives in order to deliver key milestones.Why Qantas??
