ABOUT THE ROLEAre you a finance professional with a passion for driving business success through strategic financial partnerships?
Join our team at Chartered Accountants ANZ as a Finance Business Partner and play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and performance.
Key responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual plan, budgets and forecasts for assigned division(s), ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and key assumptions.Ensure accurate month-end reporting including completion of month-end accrual journals.Prepare and present monthly financial performance packs for divisional heads, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.Perform financial modelling to generate key insights for the business.Proactively identify risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions to deliver on the business plan.Build strong relationships with stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
ABOUT YOUSomeone who has 5+ years of finance business partnering experience working within a large, complex environment, or an ambitious finance professional considering a move from a Big 4/Mid-Tier audit/professional services firm.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations.Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Ability to navigate complex business environments, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.Experience in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.Qualifications: Professional accounting qualifications (e.g.
CA, CPA, or equivalent).
Technical Skills and Experience:Strong financial acumen and knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting tools.Advanced Excel modelling skills and familiarity with Netsuite, Adaptive Insights and Power BI (highly desirable).Experience in presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Desired: Exposure to project management and change management methodologies.
