The Office of the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice-President is one of the professional services portfolios supporting the University's core businesses of education and research. We provide best practice financial advice and services to the University.
The Research and Revenue Accounting Services (R&R) team is seeking a business partnering-focused individual for the role of Finance Business Partner to assist with a range of quality financial management services, supporting project costing and providing financial advice across the duration of projects.
Your responsibilities will include budgeting, planning, modelling, forecasting, analysis, reporting and performance monitoring for allocated areas. Working with a team of service-oriented finance staff, you will provide tailored financial services designed to improve financial capability, address financial management issues and support the achievement of the business' goals.
You will ideally have:
A relevant qualification in business or accounting, with current CA/CPA accreditation and extensive relevant experienceDemonstrated experience and capabilities in financial management, budget development and reporting, systems improvement, project costing, quality control, financial analysis and monitoring with a focus on excellence in customer serviceProven ability to apply accounting standards and financial policies in a complex organisationExcellent analytical, numerical, research and problem-solving skills to achieve desired outcomesOutstanding communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and cooperatively in a teamExcellent stakeholder management, business partnering and influencing skills About Monash University
