About the role
This is a full-time
Finance Business Partner
role based at IMPACT HQ in Bundaberg. In this strategic and diverse position, you are responsible for collaborating with various departments to translate financial insights, aligning financial strategies with business objectives and leading the finance team to deliver high-quality insights and support.
What you'll be doing
Provide expert financial analysis and decision support to the business
Interpret financial data and develop meaningful reports and recommendations to support business decision-making
Preparing monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual acquittals
Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations to maintain the integrity of the general ledger
Assist in coaching and mentoring Finance team members
Collaborate with operational leaders to understand their challenges and requirements, and provide financial advice and solutions
Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning operational activities
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems
Ensure financial compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and policies
Champion a culture of financial awareness and accountability across the organisation
What we're looking for
Certification in Accounting/Bookkeeping or Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field
Significant experience in a finance business partnering or commercial finance role
Excellent financial analysis, modelling and reporting skills
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret financial data to provide meaningful insights
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
A solutions-focused mindset and the ability to drive continuous improvement
Genuine passion for contributing to the community and making a positive impact
