We are now seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team in Hindmarsh.
The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work alongside various business units to ensure accurate financial reporting, while providing clear financial guidance to management and operational teams. With an emphasis on providing high level professional financial analysis and advice to managers, you will support the annual budget process as well as quarterly forecasts for their respective divisions, including leading monthly finance meetings to identify trends, opportunities, and ultimately assist relevant managers achieve their financial targets.
In addition, you will also be required to:
Provide financial modelling for annual budgets and forecasts, including commentary around financial analyses that have been undertaken. Provide advice, assistance, and interpretation of financial information and financial reporting to internal stakeholders. Develop ongoing relationships with the business units to ensure a pro-active service. Provide commercial insight and strategic support to the Finance Manager and CFO in relation to financial targets, efficiency, and delivery of key business priorities. Assist in cashflow forecasting related to relevant business unit cash and expense cycles. Remain current with changes in accounting standards to remain compliant under AASB. Ensure operations are conducted ethically, fairly, and within the statutory legal and contractual requirements. This permanent, full-time role is based from our Hindmarsh head office.
About You With proven experience providing high level financial advice to leadership teams, you will have strong technical skills with a passion for utilising systems to extract and analyse large volumes of data. Coupled with a background in management accounting or as a Finance Business Partner, you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to provide advice, assistance, and interpretation of financial information and financial reporting to internal stakeholders.
You will also have:
Tertiary qualification in Commerce (Accounting/ Finance) CA or CPA accreditation (or equivalent) Experience in Employment services or Labour intensive organisations (desirable) Previous experience with mid-tier ERP systems (Business Central, Dynamics, JDE) Proficient with advanced modelling systems (Adaptive, Prophix, Board, Hyperion, Oracle) You will also need:
