Description Job duties include but are not limited to Providing advanced technology training, support and troubleshooting to customers on site or via phone/web Supporting the BDM with pre-sales/post-sales and marketing activities including presentation, demonstration and trials as well as promoting consumable sales by building customer's confidence in company's technology and products Working closely with the Field Service Engineer to manage installations, customer go-live and technical troubleshooting by following the protocols for verification, validation and implementation of systems & assays Skills and experience Tertiary qualified (e.g. MSc/PhD) in relevant scientific discipline--Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry 3 + years of experience in genomics and/or genotyping is a must Knowledge of routine molecular platforms and associated workflows Ability to travel across ANZ when required – up to 20%-30% of time Experience in manual and/or high-throughput automated immunoassays is a plus Previous experience in a scientific customer field supporting role is a plus Outstanding communication and customer service skills Solid commercial acumen Computer competency – MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills to assist customers with a variety of technical challenges Competency in analyzing data and reviewing identifiable factors while exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action Positive energy, excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive approach and independent thinking as well as strong work ethic Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-growth environment Keeping abreast of the current and future market dynamics (competitors' products etc.) #J-18808-Ljbffr
