This is the chance to join right as the takes off. More About the Role at Westpac The FICC Trading team is looking for outstanding talent to join the rates trading desk over the Summer.
Key deliverables: - Day to day support for the FICC trading team - Analysis of market events and key drivers of risk and profitability - Shadowing senior traders to understand the operating model of a leading trading business - Presenting thoughts, ideas and opportunities for improvement Key requirements from candidates: - Strong interest in global markets - Verifiable achievements and experience in a finance, economics, or quantitative discipline - Ability to adapt to a fast changing environment and learn on the job quickly - A team player with a drive for results
