Your Role as a Farm Manager
As a Farm Manager, you will oversee the operations of a single farm with six sheds, each designed to house up to 70,000 birds. Your primary responsibility is to ensure optimal living conditions and uphold the welfare standards of our poultry livestock. You will play a key role in managing daily operations, maintaining health protocols, and maximising production efficiency to support the farm's success.
Manage and coordinate farm staff. Monitor shed conditions for bird welfare and performance. Provide daily operational reports to the General Manager. Address maintenance issues promptly. Oversee subcontractors for essential maintenance tasks. Respond swiftly to farm alarms to protect flock welfare. What They Offer

It is essential that you have significant prior experience managing broiler farms or other intensive indoor livestock farming, focusing on overseeing growth rates. Skills in managing, rostering, and leading farming staff. Basic administrative and computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel. A valid driver's license for seamless farm management.
