Specialist Youth Family Violence Practitioner Support Young People in Darwin Tradewind Australia, a leading community services recruitment agency, is looking for a passionate Specialist Youth Family Violence Practitioner to join an innovative pilot program aimed at supporting 16-24-year-olds at risk of, or experiencing, family violence.
This role focuses on early intervention and co-case management in collaboration with existing youth services, providing crucial community education and workshops to help young people recognize warning signs, understand healthy relationships, and know their rights.
Role Details: Location: DarwinContract: Full-time, fixed term till 30 June 2025 (potential for extension)Salary: SCHADS 5 ($97k - $101k + super + salary packaging)Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 for flights, moving expenses, and temporary accommodationWhat You'll Do: Work one-on-one with youth, using early intervention and co-case management approachesLead community workshops to educate young people on relationships, warning signs, and safetyCollaborate closely with other youth services to provide wraparound supportWhat We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree or REC 209 qualification (those interested in studying a Grad Cert will also be considered)Experience in family violence or youth services (group facilitation skills highly regarded)A commitment to trauma-informed, culturally safe practices for youthIf you're ready to make a difference in the lives of young people, apply now or send your CV for more information.
