A place to make a difference: In this full-time maximum-term position (until end of December 2025) based in Gold Coast, you'll provide outreach case management support to women and children experiencing Domestic and Family Violence and/or homelessness because of DFV. Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll work business hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. You will make a difference by: Providing immediate support to women and children impacted by Domestic and Family ViolenceConducting risk assessments where Domestic and Family violence is identifiedDeveloping strong networks and referral pathways to support desired outcomesCollecting and recording information for the purpose of accountability, evaluation, and reportingA place to feel valued: You're a passionate and confident family practitioner, with strong knowledge of domestic and family violence and how it impacts families and communities. You're committed to making a positive change in the community and you work within a trauma-informed practice framework.
Bringing your best every day means having: Experience working with women, children and young people who have experienced domestic and family violenceKnowledge of best practice, professional standards, and relevant research in the field of domestic and family violenceDemonstrated understanding of the ways in which cultural contexts influence practice approachesA Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology or relevant Human Service Qualification and/or significant experience working in a similar serviceA place to belong: 54 reasons is proudly part of Save the Children Australia.
