Responsibilities: Finance: Ensure that all transactions are completed as required and per the Firm's procedures; receive funds from Clients and handle this in line with the Company's procedures. Secretarial: Prioritize work daily to ensure key tasks are dealt with in a timely fashion; liaise with the relevant Director / Fee Earner to stay up-to-date with demands; manage photocopying and scanning; maintain files in a tidy manner per the Firm's standards; use the LEAP system to open new matter files and ensure relevant documents are sent to clients; conduct identity and conflict checks; type and complete dictation accurately and proofread before presenting to the relevant Director / Fee Earner; ensure timely typing of urgent tasks; file matter files appropriately. Reception Duties (if required): Provide emergency Reception duties as needed; receive and direct calls from Clients; take concise messages and convey them via email; deal with calls courteously; welcome visitors and ensure security procedures are followed. Quality & Compliance: Promote quality performance and services; ensure compliance with the Company's Quality Policy and Professional Rules; comply with AML Regulations and SRA Handbook; ensure personal compliance with GDPR obligations. Services: Assist the Director / Department Head / Team Leader in cross-selling services and contribute to the development of services that meet client needs. Administration: Keep accurate records of time and money; avoid write-offs, claims, and complaints; disclose any issues as necessary. Training and Development: Commit to self-development and complete required annual CPD; stay updated with changes in legislation and procedures. Personal Requirements: Highly motivated, proven teamwork skills, skilled in mediation and negotiation; excellent team player; experienced in family law; committed to personal and professional development; strong planning and problem-solving skills; maintain effective professional relationships. Salary: Between £18,000 and £25,000 depending on experience.
