About the role:
Provide leadership in the planning, implementation, and review of a comprehensive range of Corporate Services functions which support Clinical units across the Bribie Island Satellite Hospital (BSH). Working together with multiple services in an environment of change and development to provide corporate advice and assistance to all stakeholders.Responsible for the coordination and management of the BSH corporate allocated budget and maintenance to provide efficient and effective service delivery through service level accountabilities across our facilities.Assist the Brisbane Island Satellite Hospital Facility Management team with the operational and business planning, policy procedure and project management utilising analytical, conceptual, interpersonal skills.About you:
This successful applicant will carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values.Provide leadership and management in accordance with MNH strategic and operational planning priorities to meet the needs of all services. Build and sustain positive relationships with team members and clients.Promote a work environment that empowers, motivates, and develops the diverse talents of people and ensures an optimum level of appropriately skilled employees.Manage multiple centre portfolios, building linkages with key stakeholders.Communicate in a timely manner to direct reports.Participate as a member of the BISH Operations Committee and provide leadership in discussions regarding the management and coordination of Bribie Island Satellite Hospital resources and the resolution of any issues which impact on the operation and/or the delivery of clinical services.To provide administrative support and direction to BISH Administration staff and Team Leaders to promote optimum utilisation of facilities, systems, information, and resources.Monitor, review and report on Centre budgets, utilising relevant information and reporting systems.Coordinate annual priorities for assets/equipment and non-mandatory building repairs and maintenance.Health Equity:
