The Opportunity They are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Strategic Projects to lead a variety of high-impact projects, including university sector initiatives, major grant funding, and training programs.
In doing so, you will enable the Directors to drive business growth.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you'll be responsible for managing key projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all tasks meet high standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and client satisfactionOversee project budgets, timelines, and team collaborationMaintain strong client relationships with frequent, professional communicationProspect for new project opportunities and contribute to business developmentMentor and develop team members to enhance skills and performanceThe Ideal Candidate will demonstrate:
A "kick it to me" mindset, taking responsibility and accountability.Strong team and project management experienceExceptional verbal and written communication skillsFinancial literacy with an understanding of financial statements and business casesAbility to manage competing priorities and deadlinesExperience in client-facing roles and proven ability to handle complex projectsAlthough not mandatory, experience working with local governments, universities, or peak sporting bodies will be well regarded, as will any experience with infrastructure facility projects.
