Your next opportunity: Reporting to the Operations Manager – Asphalt (Spray Seal), we now have a great opportunity available for an experienced Depot Manager to join our team in Wagga Wagga NSW 2650.
Your primary focus in this role will be to oversee the efficient and effective management of the Wagga spray seal business during execution of road construction, upgrade and maintenance projects within Boral's New South Wales Asphalt Business.
Your day will involve: Lead the safety, quality, delivery and financial aspects of the projects. Optimising financial performance through the coordination, programming and administration of all contracting operations and obligations. Effective team leadership and engagement with multiple internal departments to ensure we meet and exceed client expectations. Managing day to day operations in rural and remote locations. Analyse, record and report on project risks and mitigations applied to the project. Provide regular reporting on project schedules, look ahead and at-risk activities.
Review and approve deviations to the project plan and schedule. Complete all documentation for efficient costing, raw material management and invoicing for projects in your area of responsibility. Evaluate team effectiveness and coach team members to achieve superior performance. What we are looking for: Intrinsic drive to succeed installing energy into the business whilst inspiring the team and installing confidence to both the team and customer expectations and delivery. Experience in managing contracting teams, customer relationships, safety expectations, commercial aspects of projects or businesses. Commitment to Zero Harm and demonstrated safety leadership behaviors. Asphalt and Spray Sealing industry experience highly regarded but not required.
