The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership role within one of Australia's largest Aged Care providers dedicated to social purpose, where you can make a meaningful difference while enjoying personal and professional fulfillment.
This role will be supported by a well-regarded leadership team, with extensive on-site and roving clinical and educational support.
This specific facility is a living community for 137 seniors who are provided with residential care or nursing home services.
The position spans all aspects of managing a multi-resident home, including operational, lifestyle, food services and governance elements.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Facility Manager will be responsible for: Building relationships with businesses and community groups locally.
Manage facility expenses and be accountable for efficient resource rostering and agency usage.
Support and enable the development of the facility management team.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with key Commonwealth, State and Territory government departments.
About You For this appointment we are seeking an established leader with a track record in developing and leading clinical services within the Aged Care sector.
You will have a resident-centric approach to care and have demonstrated experience in leading high performing teams within the Aged Care sector.
In addition, the successful candidate will have: Undergraduate qualification in Human Services, Nursing, Health Service Management, Business, or Social Sciences.
Minimum 5 years operational or administrative management experience with demonstrated ability to lead change and sustain a high-performing team.
Diversity of thought and experience within health care, aged care, or other customer-focused sectors (e.g.
hospitality).
Sound financial acumen with experience performing effectively against operational budgets, including labour costs.
Experience managing operational compliance with complex regulatory requirements with the ability to interpret the regulatory environment as required.
