The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Facility and Assets Manager to provide a critical role within Corrections Victoria.

About the Role The Facility and Assets Manager at Melbourne Assessment Prison (MAP) is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management of the facility's infrastructure and assets. This role ensures the effective execution of both day-to-day operations and strategic asset management plans, adhering to the Victorian Government's Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF). Key duties include managing reactive and planned maintenance, optimising resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
As the Facility and Assets Manager, some of your duties will include:
Leading the development and implementation of strategic asset management plans in accordance with the Victorian Government's Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF).Overseeing day-to-day facility management operations, including reactive and planned maintenance activities.Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and service providers.About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing strategic asset management plans, in alignment with the Victorian Government's Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF).Proven experience in overseeing day-to-day facility operations, including managing reactive and planned maintenance programs, ensuring operational efficiency and service delivery.In-depth understanding of compliance requirements related to health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a track record of effectively managing risks associated with facilities and assets.Strong capability in managing budgets and financial resources for facility and asset management, including developing business plans, service delivery models, and ensuring cost-effective resource utilisation.How to Apply Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
