Facilities Project Coordinator

The Works Delivery group is responsible for the delivery planning and safe execution of all maintenance and minor capital field work across Water Supply, Sewerage, Drainage, Waterways and Catchments for Melbourne Water. Reporting to Manager Logisticsthis role is responsible foridentifying and implementing strategic improvement initiativesfor Melbourne Water facilities.
This will be achieved through:
Collaborating with key stakeholders to maximise the efficient use of physical space within Melbourne Water owned and leased facilities
Provide specialist ESM and compliance advice to the Facilities Management team and the broader Melbourne Water teams to ensure buildings are compliant and provide assistance with decommissioning aging building assets.
Manage and coordinate the capital allocation of funds to deliver minor uplift works and provide insights and potential list of future projects for budget /pricing submission cycles.
Development of functional requirements and business case's for capital improvement works on facilities
Ability to Deliver strong customer focused outcomes and building key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Proven access management and project development experience preferably within a public sector environment.
Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service, and contribute to a constructive, positive and supportive team environment
Working knowledge of Essential Safety Measures (ESM), Victorian building codes and regulations, Australian Standards, OH&S legislation
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
Demonstrated initiative and ability to self-prioritise and perform complex professional/technical work
This is a full time role primarily based from 990 La Trobe Street, Docklands. You will be required on occasions to travel to other Melbourne Water locations and will have access to an operational Pool vehicle. How to ApplyClick the 'Apply Now' button below and complete our online application form.
