Your duties may include rubbish collection, minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical and grounds maintenance. Selecting, establishing and maintaining simple gardens, you will install and maintain a wide range of watering systems and formulate, prepare and apply herbicides, pesticides, weedicides or specialty fertilisers. You may also perform advanced tractor operations requiring the set up and calibration of a broad range of implements to undertake more complex grounds functions. As part of your role, you will provide assistance and guidance to other employees, including on-the-job training.Being part of Barossa Hills Fleurieu LHN means you will be supported both personally and professionally, and will provide you with the opportunity to make a real difference to the residents/patients we care for and by extension, their family and the local community.You will have prior experience in building and grounds maintenance, with practical experience in using a wide range of hand and power tools. You will have a sound understanding of the Occupational Health Safety & Welfare acts relevant to a maintenance role.
