Whether you've got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades, or technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.As our Facilities Manager, you will oversee two key assets (on behalf of a renowned landlord/investor) with government tenants as part of a national portfolio.You will assist with the management of the day-to-day client activities and be the on-site key point of contact for tenants, stakeholders, and our client.
The role will assume overall responsibility for operational site budgets, program and reactive maintenance, contractor management, management of minor works, and management of risk and compliance programs.A snapshot of the day-to-day responsibilities:Building and maintaining strong relationships with the client, tenants, and service partners.Maintaining an impeccable level of building presentation.Ensuring optimal operation of building plant and equipment to improve NABERS ratings and reduce environmental impact.Be the contact for technical advice, supporting the property management team, client, tenants, and visitors.Implement, audit, and maintain risk management procedures, including incident reporting, emergency response planning, and business continuity strategies.Manage operational expenditure budget preparation, forecasting, and delivery.Provide recommendations to the client and property management team to continually improve operational efficiencies.Before you apply it's also worth knowing what we are looking for:You will have proven facilities management experience in a commercial environment and you're ready to push your career forward managing a high-profile asset.
You're passionate about sustainability and have a good knowledge of building systems as well as occupational health & safety legislation and requirements.
