This position calls for a highly skilled person to facilitate the delivery of the City's Facilities Management maintenance, minor works, goods and services contracts including contract and performance management of contractors and suppliers. You will also be required to facilitate the delivery of the preventative maintenance program as well as deliver the minor capital and maintenance projects. A strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail as well as a positive and professional attitude with the ability to work in a team as well as autonomously is a must.To be successful in this role you will have:Certificate IV (or above) in Project or Contract ManagementCurrent unrestricted C class national driver's licenseExperience within the building or construction industry, project and contract managementKnowledge and experience in the tender, contract management and administration processesProject delivery from inception to completionExperience and expertise in budget planning and delivery and associated work programmingProcurement, contracts, contract law and project management and evaluation principlesKnowledge of design and construction approval processes, regulatory authorities, procedures, codes and regulations for the delivery of civil and building projectsExtensive knowledge and expertise in procurementWell-developed interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent written and communication skillsStrong analytical, research and problem-solving skillsEffective decision-making skillsAbility to manage and prioritise individual work responsibilities to achieve target outcomesHigh level of attention to detailAbility to work effectively individually and cooperate with others in a teamAs part of our recruitment process, you will be required to complete a drug and alcohol testThe finer detailsThis full-time Level 4 position attracts a salary range of $79,213 - $85,172 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of their background, identity, experience, ability or thinking style, and if you need assistance during the application process for accessibility reasons this is available upon request.Sound exactly like the sort of role for you?
