Reporting to the Facilities Manager and as part of the Asset Management team, you'll require your high focus to assist in managing the service delivery of site maintenance and management.

Your ability to work well both within a team and independently (with some flexibility with working hours) will support your high commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at all RSL workplaces.

As the Facilities and Asset Officer, you will be required to engage with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure appropriate performance outcomes and compliance with relevant legislation for RSL Queensland site & building environments.

What your working week will involve:Assisting with the maintenance of all RSL assets, in particular addressing daily work requests and tasks as assignedIdentifying and actioning preventative maintenance tasksDirectly contribute to the provision of a safe and healthy environment for all RSL clients, staff, and visitorsAssisting with the management of site/building access and securityCoordinating site inductions and supervision of external contractorsAssisting with "move, add, change" requests as requiredAssisting with the maintenance of high-quality amenities at all RSL Queensland sitesMaintaining records and service schedulesAssisting with the management of RSL Queensland fleet vehicles, including vehicle bookings, issuance, servicing, and logistics when requiredWhat you'll need to succeed:At least three years practical experience working within Asset Management, Facilities Management, or property maintenance related rolesTrade qualifications desirable but not essentialAn understanding of building compliance, essential services, BCA, WH&S, and building fire safety requirements is preferredPrior training/qualifications in WH&S desirableA high level of energy and proactivity with strong organisation and time management skills desirableWell-developed communication and customer service skills, ability to interact well with diverse personalities and contractorsA good work ethic and proven ability to work unsupervisedDemonstrated skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Experience with the use of Microsoft Dynamics is an advantageCurrent driver's licenseEmbracing collaboration and innovation, we work as one to lead the change veterans need.
