About Project & Infrastructure Advisory Our Project & Infrastructure Advisory (P&IA) team provides government and corporate clients in the infrastructure sector with specialist advisory services across all phases of projects, from concept through assessment through to delivery.
The national P&IA team currently have approximately 100 specialists with expertise in financial and commercial advice, economics, strategy and planning, business case development, and project management.
The team have continued to grow and expand in recent years, and we are now looking for additional talented advisors to join the Brisbane office.
About the Roles BDO is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced financial and commercial advisors to join our Project & Infrastructure Advisory team across the following levels: Manager Senior Manager Director You will have the opportunity to work across business case, feasibility study, procurement, and other financial and commercial engagements for a diverse range of infrastructure projects across Australia and multiple sectors for both government and private-sector clients.
Key responsibilities may include: Leading, managing, and developing project financial models for various projects and assets Leading, managing, and preparing financial and commercial analyses based on internally or externally prepared financial modelling and an understanding of the client/project's objectives Leading, managing, and delivering reports and presentations for a wide variety of stakeholders Leading, managing, and/or working as part of multi-disciplinary teams, including both internal resources and external sub-consultants (or as part of a consortium) Managing or contributing to the on-time and on-budget delivery of engagements Leading, managing, and preparing comprehensive and compelling proposals for new engagements Leading or supporting business development activities including engaging with current and potential future clients, tracking potential engagement opportunities, and developing proposals Maintaining and developing strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders, project partners, and broader industry Any other activities as required supporting the efficient management and function of the team About You Understanding and demonstrated experience with project financial modelling and analysis to support investment evaluation Strong understanding of government frameworks for business case development Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (via reports, spreadsheets, presentations, emails, and in conversations), work in a multi-disciplinary team, manage engagements and deliverables Demonstrated ability to lead, or contribute to, the development of a team Demonstrated ability to lead, or contribute to, client relationships and business development Tertiary qualifications in finance or economics (engineering or other qualifications also potentially considered).
