This position will be responsible for the management and reporting of all the accounting data.
He/She will be responsible for closing financial reports and ensuring continuous collaboration with the advisory team.
He will assist with the development of standard operating procedures and ensure implementation of accounting systems.
He/She will be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing team members.

ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES:Reviewing all financial records/transactions to determine accuracy, completeness of data, and ensure error-free reports.Preparing financial statements and reports.Reconciling sales and discrepancies on a weekly basis with all gateways/third party accounts and ensuring financial data is updated.Ensuring month-end and year-end closing process of accounting records.Assisting in the development and enhancement of the Standard Operating Procedures.Identifying and highlighting issues with accounting systems, processes, and procedures, and providing potential solutions to the Advisor.Ensuring compliance with IFRS.Handling client accounts and responding to any issues derived from the clients.Keeping the Advisor/Manager well informed about important accounting issues on a timely basis.Reviewing the work of team members on a timely basis and providing feedback in a thorough and constructive manner.Coordinating with the Advisory team to complete accounting tasks in a timely manner.Collaborating, communicating, and sharing all client engagement knowledge with the team to achieve client goals.Providing required training and coaching to help team members learn, grow, and develop.Assisting the advisory team in liaising and coordinating with auditors for interim and annual audits.Executing appropriate use of electronic working papers, accounting tools, analytical tools, and sources of knowledge.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.Professional Qualification (CMA, CPA, CA) is a plus.Accounting or Finance backgrounds.Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables.Experience with Small-Medium Businesses, tools, & systems is a plus.Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).REQUIRED SKILLS:Excellent communication skills.Great teamwork and management.Goal-oriented attention to detail and accuracy.Problem-solving.Process improvement.Project management.Willingness to work under pressure.Open to new challenges and willing to respond to change.Performing with a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and business ethics.LANGUAGES:Fluent in English.
