About The RoleThis is a dynamic and pivotal role that provides secretariat and administrative support to the CEO. The role is critical in ensuring a high degree of professional co-ordination and support to the CEO, executives and to the operational committees. The Executive Officer must be able to work under pressure, at times, to handle a wide variety of activities including confidential matters with discretion. The position is part time 16 hours per week. Hours can be worked within business hours Monday - Tuesday over two days per week by mutual agreement with the CEO.
The key roles and tasks are, but not limited to:
In the absence of the Executive Administrator, coordinate the daily business of the CEO by managing appointments and organising meetings.Coordination, preparation, and distribution of agendas, papers, and minutes for various meetings and operational committee meetings.Assist CEO with Special Projects from time to time.Preparation of confidential correspondence on behalf of the CEO and executive.Arrangement of travel itineraries for the executives as requested.Cover the role of the Executive Administrator from time to time. This may require some out of hours work.Assist with freedom of information requests.Essential skills and attributes (selection criteria)The successful applicant will demonstrate:
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce a broad range of quality written material for a variety of audiences.Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail and an ability to work autonomously.Highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities and complete tasks to deadlines.Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.Advanced PC and document control knowledge and experience.Experience in corporate governance including preparation of Board agendas, papers and minutes and knowledge of relevant legislation, policy requirements and processes.Proven engagement, collaboration, and negotiation skills, with the capability to build and maintain relationships with Board members, management, staff and stakeholders.A NDIS Screening check will be required prior to employment and then every five years.Benefits & CultureWe value our team and the wonderful work they do.
