Your role as Executive Officer in the OCIO is your chance to be a pivotal force in an environment ripe with opportunities for growth and innovation.
As the Executive Officer, you will be essential to the leadership fabric, offering indispensable senior executive support to our Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Senior Executive Team. Your strategic insights and professional acumen will be key to navigating the complexities of IT management at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-level strategic advice, conduct complex research, and construct critical analyses and reports to assist the CIO in managing and steering ITB effectively.Guide and mentor the executive support team, ensuring the OCIO functions efficiently daily and communication materials meet the highest standards.Engage and consult with a diverse range of stakeholders, devising recommendations and drafting key documents under tight deadlines.Spearhead and account for crucial business activities and projects that fuel our organisational, divisional, and branch strategies, including policy development and whole-of-government business operations.Are You the Ideal Candidate?Possess exceptional emotional and social intelligence, with an innate ability to navigate change and uncertainty.Be adept at forging positive relationships, communicating clearly and purposely, and tailoring your approach to various audiences.Bring a wealth of experience in comparable roles, having worked closely with senior leadership to drive meaningful outcomes and success.Please note, due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
