The division provides strategic and policy leadership and investment advice and oversight to drive Australia's Digital ID System. The Division also coordinates decisions and actions across Commonwealth agencies and with state and territory governments to use data and digital opportunities to greatest effect. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Digital ID and Data Policy Division is seeking applications from experienced candidates to fill the role of Executive Officer (EO). The EO plays a critical role in facilitating work across the division. The successful candidates will work closely with Senior Executives to manage the strategic direction of the division to ensure the work is managed effectively and in a coordinated manner.

As the EO you will also be responsible for:

directly supporting the First Assistant Secretary and other senior staff, including representing them in communications with internal and external stakeholdersanticipating and resolving potential barriers to workflows, including providing direction, clarification, and context for requests, exercising foresight and the ability to plan and creatively solve problemsmanaging the timeliness, consistency and quality of briefings and other material including Ministerial Correspondence and Briefs, Questions on Notice, and ad hoc requestsbuilding and maintaining strong working relationships and rapport with the senior leadership group and key stakeholders, including communicating with influence to progress decisions and deliverablespreparing papers, speaking notes, strategic briefing notes and regular reports for the First Assistant Secretary and directly communicating with the Minister's Office, the Executive and external stakeholders to provide advice, manage expectations, and facilitate finalisation of papers, briefs etcassisting with accountable and efficient reporting, including preparation for Senate Estimates hearingsproviding quality assurance in a fast-paced environment and monitoring performance outcomes; andengaging with corporate business partners and facilitating corporate planning, business plans, risk plans, Cabinet and Budget processes and input into the Annual Report.
