- 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,
- 2 days from an RACP office location per week,
- 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.
The Role The Adult Medicine (AMD) Secretariat provides the focal point of communication with the membership, other College staff, external bodies and other stakeholders. The role is responsible for:
Providing high level administrative support for the AMD and its associated committees, including its three Chapters. Supporting the operations of the AMD, including implementing decisions and coordinating agreed activities. Support AMD activities and events as required, including but not limited to RACP Congress, Convocation Ceremonies. Disseminating information relating to the AMD and its committees to Division Fellows and other internal and external groups, as appropriate. To be successful in the role... Demonstrated experience in delivering professional client and secretariat services, particularly in a membership organisation. High level written and verbal communication skills. Ability to research and prepare summary briefs on a range of health sector topic areas. High level problem solving and analytical skills, and the initiative and willingness to undertake a range of tasks. Stakeholder relationship skills, with demonstrated ability to develop good working relationships with senior professionals and represent stakeholders both internally and externally. Ability to work independently and take responsibility for outcomes, while also collaborating in a professional team. High level organisational skills and attention to detail with proven ability to prioritise and manage deadlines in a high-volume environment. Proficiency in the use of MSOffice, email, Internet and the use of databases. Ability to adapt to a changing work environment.
