This will require experienced high-level secretarial support, demonstrating sound judgement, providing strategic partnership, appropriately anticipating the CEO's needs and working with various internal and external stakeholders to focus on impactful strategic business priorities.
The ideal individual must be able to work at a considerable pace and under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong decision-making capabilities, technological skills, excellent organizational ability and be able to maintain a realistic balance amongst competing priorities.
Other responsibilities include: Support the CEO, ANZ by acting as an intermediary for both internal and external issues. Act as the first point of contact with clients, internal staff and other external parties including some media, regarding matters which call for the CEO's attention.Support the CEO by overseeing and driving all matters pertaining to the CEO's office whilst being able to work independently and take initiative.Keep CEO, ANZ informed of commitments, priorities and internal inquiries and ensure CEO, ANZ is fully prepared.Build strong and positive stakeholder relationships providing high quality customer service and high-level administrative support.Co-ordinate and manage relevant responses and/or input into projects, programs, reports, presentations, correspondence, and departmental/business issues.Proactively manage the CEO's time including communications (email), meetings, events, and travel, often across multiple time-zones. Scheduling appointments with clients and industry partners.Coach, mentor, engage and develop the EA community, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and learning opportunities.Handling invoice processing, diary management, agendas for meetings, travel coordination, booking accommodation and preparing detailed itineraries.A bit about you: Strong experience supporting C-Level executive leaders preferably in a large, complex, global organization.Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.Leadership in managing executive priorities, ensuring that strategic initiatives are prioritised and that the CEO remains focused on high-level decision-making.Advanced organizational and time-management skills and technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management.Experience in preparing and managing presentations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple stakeholders with competing interests.High level of professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of the role, ensuring the CEO's time and activities are managed with discretion and integrity.Become a champion for meaningful progress: Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so.
