The Australian Dental Association NSW Branch (ADA NSW) is the peak professional association for dentists and dental students in NSW and the ACT, with over 5000 members and growing. Our mission is to advance dentistry to improve the health of all Australians. As the peak body, our role is to help people in our communities achieve optimal oral health. As the professional association for dentists, we provide a range of practice support services for members, including advocacy, continuing professional development, networking events, professional advice and regulatory information. We are a not-for-profit member association.
About you
We are seeking a high-energy person with impeccable attention to detail and organisation to drive our high-performing organisation culture. As the Executive Assistant you will:
Coordinate the compilation of Board and Council meetings and papers Coordinate various committees of the Board Provide secretariat support to the CEO, President and COO Compile and distribute minutes Coordinate with stakeholders for various projects Manage a complex diary, scheduling meetings and appointments Coordinate the team for the CEO and other members of the senior management team Organise events for the business, both internal and external Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements Develop and maintain productive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders Create presentations and distribute reports Receive, assess and manage telephone enquiries from internal and external callers Required Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualification in business administration or equivalent At least 3-5 years' experience in an EA/PA role Proven experience in supporting a Board High level attention to detail Ability to forward think and plan Energy, drive and excellent communication skills Ability to operate within a high-pressure environment, working to tight deadlines Anticipate emerging and contentious issues and develop effective communication strategies Ability to motivate, inspire and mentor team members Are you ready to share your enthusiasm and contribute to our positive and productive culture?
