No two days will be the same, where you will manage schedules and attend to a variety of administrative tasks to ensure prompt delivery and operational success. This position is ideal for someone who can juggle multiple tasks and priorities and values collaboration and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with coordinating and scheduling the Management team's internal department meetings and minuting when required Preparing, editing, and distributing relevant meeting minutes, reports, presentations, and documentation Booking functions and arranging staff travel and accommodation Supporting with organizing company events and functions Providing support in the preparation of tender and expressions of interest submissions Processing purchase orders and petty cash reimbursements Ordering and overseeing office consumables, managing office/workshop cleaners, and staff uniforms Maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency in the day-to-day operations Additional ad-hoc administrative and project-related tasks as required About You: This role would suit an experienced Administration Assistant/Officer with a minimum of 1-5 years' experience and the following skills/attributes:
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to assess tasks for their priority and manage deadlines effectively Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and positive working relationships Skilled at juggling multiple tasks at any one time Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Handles confidential and sensitive information with discretion Desire to learn new skills and operational platforms Previous experience supporting multiple busy managers in a similar role Previous experience within the building and construction industry or similar (advantageous) As our people are sometimes required to attend government, health, and education facilities and construction sites, it is a condition of employment for this role that the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and background police check is adhered to.
