The team ASIC's Markets Group is responsible for ensuring investors have the trust and confidence to invest in Australia's financial markets and ensuring all market participants, infrastructure providers and gatekeepers operate with integrity, resilience, and transparency.
This is done by managing the end-to-end process for regulating markets including supervision, triage, investigation, and enforcement.
The Markets Group also provides regulatory advice, considers applications and engages with stakeholders pertaining to the regulation of markets.
The role As an Executive Assistant for the Markets Group, you will: * Provide front line representation and support to two Senior Executives.
* Provide extensive calendar and email management.
* Provide a range of administrative support services including preparing presentations, correspondence, newsletters, filing and records management, mail, maintenance of registers and databases, photocopying and creating and maintaining mail lists.
* Arrange and coordinate meetings with stakeholders including room & equipment bookings, agenda preparation, and preparing and sending meeting documentation.
* Coordinate international and domestic travel, prepare corporate credit card reconciliations, basic procurement, and expenditure administration.
* Participate in meetings, take minutes, disseminate meeting documents and draft minutes and monitor action items.
* Provide assistance to the broader Markets senior leader group as required.
About you To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment, whether in government, financial services, or the private sector.
You should be adept at anticipating needs, solving problems, and driving efficiency, all while thriving in a collegial and team-oriented atmosphere.
You will also bring: * Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and the ability to confidently engage with stakeholders.
* Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) * Experience with Sharepoint or a similar content management system.
* Strong capability in researching, reviewing, and editing documents.
* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
