The Role
The Analysis, Data and Measurement Branch delivers specialist data analysis and leads delivery of the department's Data Strategy. The team is a vibrant group of motivated professionals with an inclusive collaborative culture.
The Analysis, Data and Measurement Branch is seeking to fill an APS4 Executive Assistant (EA) position, working to the Department's Chief Data Officer. The role of the Executive Assistant is to provide high level administrative support, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Branch on a day-to-day basis. In addition, the EA provides administrative support to the Division's Executive Officer, and as required, Group Executive.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties of the APS4 Executive Assistant may include, but are not limited to:
Providing administrative and executive support to the Assistant Secretary (AS) including managing document workflow, coordinating information, secretariat support, drafting correspondence, diary management, telephone calls and managing emails. Organising and managing a variety of meetings and forums, including liaison with stakeholders and other government agencies. Coordinating the workflow of the office, managing documents for the attention of the AS, including tracking and clearance procedures. Working with staff in the Branch to ensure that all correspondence is managed appropriately, and deadlines are met. Supporting fellow Division EAs and working together to streamline processes to improve productivity and outcomes. Supporting procurement activities and payment of invoices as directed. Undertaking administrative tasks as required, managing record keeping in accordance with departmental processes. Managing the Branch leave calendar, organisation chart and phone list. How to Apply

Eligibility
Citizenship - to be eligible for employment with the Department, you must be an Australian Citizen or, in limited circumstances, in the process of obtaining it.
Security Clearance - our successful candidate is required to hold, or have the ability to obtain, and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
