As part of Sustainability, External Affairs, Legal, Risk and Compliance team, your mission is to play a part in helping our SEALRC team thrive. You will assist in managing and enhancing its services to ensure our function is on track to deliver our commitments to Telstra and our stakeholders.
About the role The Executive Assistant will provide professional, responsive and confidential support to assigned Executives and their broader teams, enabling them to focus on their key priorities and value-adding internal and external customer service needs.You thrive on adding great value for Telstra by ensuring timely and effective alignment of your Executives' schedules to strategic and business priorities and presenting as a brand ambassador internally and externally.Important note: The role will be based in our Brisbane office. The successful candidate will be required to be in the office 4-days a week for real-time support, but flexibility is available when required.
What We Offer Flex appeal: choose where, when and how you workPerformance-related payAccess to thousands of learning programs so you can level-upGlobal presence across 22 countries; opportunities to work where we do business.Purchased annual leave schemeAdditional Telstra day offAdditional 30% off Telstra products and servicesToolkit provided (laptop + mobile phone + plan paid for)What You'll Do Oversee the management of two Executives' schedules, including rearranging appointments, meetings, and events with internal and external stakeholders in consultation with the executive.Work closely and effectively with both executives to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.Successfully complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including editing and completing first drafts for written communication to internal and external stakeholders; and other tasks that facilitate the executive's ability to effectively lead the business.Monitor progress and report on various projects and action items, and undertake investigation, research, and analysis of sensitive and confidential matters.Assist with travel, expenses, email management, presentations, and other ad-hoc requests.Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the executive's office and internal stakeholders, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff.Proactively drive continuous improvement in administrative support systems, policies, and procedures.Assist the broader SEALRC Business Support team with ad-hoc requests.About You You will be bringing the following skills and experiences:
