As a part of the Avant Mutual Group, we look after the needs of over 50,000 health care practitioners, students and their families.About the roleAs an Executive Assistant, you will be a valuable member of a dynamic, collaborative and supportive team, providing executive support to the CEO and COO of our Doctors' Health Fund business. This is a 12 month max term, full time opportunity based in our Darling Park, Sydney CBD offices.To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with extensive experience supporting at the group executive or C-suite level.Key responsibilities for this role include:Providing efficient and varied executive and administration support while preserving confidentiality and professionalism;Managing the calendars for the CEO and COO which are frequently changing;Responding proactively to changing circumstances and competing priorities within strict deadlines;Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and drafting minutes, tracking and following up on action items;Managing travel requirements and expenses for the senior leadership team;Effectively liaising with internal and external stakeholders including regulators;Coordinating internal communications;Supporting with board level papers and executive level presentations;Providing support to the wider senior leadership team as required, including assistance on strategic projects.The successful applicant will have:Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant at a senior executive/group executive or C-suite level;Strong organisation and coordination skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;Excellent administrative skills with strong attention to accuracy and detail;Professional, calm, and 'can-do' approach to everything they do;Demonstrated success in working collaboratively;Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels;Fast and accurate typing skills with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.Why work at Avant?At Avant, our people are the centre of everything we do for our members.
