Howard Smith Wharves are on the lookout for a guest focused and vibrant Casual Supervisor to join our dedicated Events team.

Responsibilities include:

Leading the guest experience and continually looking for opportunities to improve
Lead and coach a diverse team of people ensuring that team culture is at the forefront of everything you do
Visibly active on the floor, leading by example and supporting Food and Beverage Attendants to be the best that they can be
Assisting guests with any feedback and actioning as appropriate
A high knowledge of the product produced in venue
Coordinate and manage the logistics of bump-ins and bump-outs for events
Set up venues according to client specifications, ensuring all equipment and facilities are ready
Oversee the smooth operation of small events, from start to finish
Liaise with vendors, clients, and staff to ensure seamless event execution
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during events and coordinate quick solutions

What we're looking for:

Experience in a similar role
Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service
Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts
Be a positive and collaborate team player
Hold a valid Queensland RSA
