Learn more at: rimrockcareers.com Job Description Working as a member of the Event Services team, providing set up and service of guests' functions while ensuring excellent service levels and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities Set up, service, and tear down of a variety of functions for 5 to 500 guests.Perform a variety of duties including set ups, coffee service, bartending and meal services.Read Banquet Event Orders (BEO) for all room set up and food & beverage requirements.Lift, carry, and setup tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, and other furniture to BEO requirements.Ensure all coffee breaks/meals/meeting rooms are set up for the required time and to the proper standards.Assist with maintaining appropriate levels of dry goods and other items for guests' consumption.Ensure the proper maintenance and housekeeping of Banquet storage rooms, back spaces and functions spaces.Polish cutlery, glassware, and tableware.Collect cash, room charges and credit slips from guests for any individual charges for bar tabs or extra items ordered.Work in other F&B outlets when required due to business/staffing levels.Attend regularly scheduled Event Services meetings.Qualifications Completion of Grade 12 or equivalentAlberta ProServe CertificationAble to meet the physical demands of the positionPrevious experience in banquet service is an assetAble to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentAble to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAvailable to work a flexible schedule and long hours based on business levelsCustomer-service orientedAdditional Information Complimentary meal in our staff cafeteria each shiftAccess to Employee Travel ProgramDiscounts on hotel Food & Beverage, Spa and Golf MembershipsInclusion & Diversity We want every employee to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be themselves at work and in housing.
