The Event Planning Manager is responsible to act as a specialist in the area of events. This covers the relationship building, account management as well as event management.Some of the responsibilities include:Handling group movement in the hotel with attentive careEnsuring a well-executed event which exceeds customers' expectationsCommunicating effectively and working closely with all concerned operational departments in the hotelConducting event space site inspections outlining our unique selling points to the clientUnderstanding client needs and providing a proposal which best suits their requirementsHandle guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient mannerQualifications:Requirement:At least Diploma of Hospitality and ManagementAt least 2 years relevant working experienceExperience in sales extremely advantageousGood understanding of selling techniques and banquet knowledgeStrong computer skills in MS Office, email, envision advantageous.Passion for the hospitality industry and eagerness to learnGood administrative, time management, organisational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communications, sales and customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesA career with Hyatt opens a world of opportunities.
