Job Description:
James Hardie Industries is seeking a reliable and passionate Communications Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This position allows for remote work from home, offering a flexible schedule for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the company's brand and values- Create engaging content for various communication channels, including social media, website, press releases, and internal newsletters- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding- Handle media inquiries and coordinate interviews with company spokespersons- Assist in crisis communication management when necessary- Stay updated on industry trends and adjust communication strategies accordingly
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data for insights- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines- Experience with graphic design tools is a plus
