SENIOR EVENTS ADVISER | STATE GOVERNMENTContract: 7 monthsPay: $67.39 per/hour + superLocation: Melbourne CBDWork Model: Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days WFH)Role Overview:Work with a large state government department and lead an industry specific conference and deliver high-quality events supporting the organisation's stakeholder communications and engagement objectives.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale government sector eventsProcure and oversee event-related services (AV, print, suppliers, venue, hospitality)Develop event formats within allocated budgetsWrite event communications, including briefings and running ordersPrepare briefings for Ministers, executives, and dignitariesLiaise with internal colleagues and external stakeholdersEvaluate events and produce reports for continuous improvementRequirements:Proven experience in government sector event management essentialStrong project management and budget control skillsExcellent stakeholder management and communication abilitiesKeen eye for detail and logistics managementAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentDesired Qualities:Passion for creating professional and memorable eventsCan-do approach and ability to empower team membersCommitment to delivering exceptional event experiencesAdditional Information:Role involves managing high-profile, public-facing government events.Opportunity to work in a positive and high-performing team.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
