We are now looking for an Event Operations Coordinator to join our team on a fixed term contract basis from August 2024 until February 2025 based in QLD Tennis Centre, Brisbane.
As this is a seasonal contract, we request full availability, particularly flexibility across the summer months of December - February.

About the role In this role you will:
Provide support to the Event Operations Manager with all event operational requirements (i.e. temporary infrastructure site overlay and build, production & AV, accreditation, traffic management, tech requirements, , , patron & kid's activations risk management & safety, tournament & player services and tournament functions). Work closely with the Event Operations Manager & Site Manager to deliver the site overlay & assist with delivery of bump in & bump out schedule. Coordinate bump in & out schedule, and staff information sessions prior to event bump-in. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including suppliers and contractors ensuring a high standard of event delivery. Manage financial administrative duties such as preparing invoices, raising purchase orders and ensuring that budget parameters are met. Ensure all required documentation is obtained from contractors and suppliers to satisfy OH & S requirements. About you What you'll bring to the role:
Demonstrated experience working in event operations, preferably within the sports industry. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with various stakeholders. Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Flexible in regards to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia events. Due to Brisbane International taking place across the Christmas period, you will be required to work some public holidays. You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check What's to love?
