The Opportunity: We currently have a great opportunity available for an experienced Estimator for our Boral Asphalt team.
Based in Stonyfell SA 5066, you will be responsible for maximizing profit and financial performance through the effective and efficient management of the estimating process.
Key Duties: Professionally prepare quotes, offers, tenders, and expressions of interest.Manage contract risk through efficient and effective pre-tender reviews, contract reviews, project post audits, and the application of appropriate training.Work with key in-house personnel to gain buy-in and benefit from their insights during the estimating process.Develop and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods.Value add wherever possible to meet and/or exceed client expectations, improve profitability, and improve market share.Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins according to agreed aims.About You: Proven ability and experience in estimating / contract negotiation / contract administration / project management within the construction or civil construction industry.Tertiary qualifications in either Civil Engineering or Project Management (preferable).A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Strong computer skills in an estimating program and Microsoft Office.Sound presentation skills.An attitude and commitment that will fit a highly motivated team environment.What's on Offer?
