Their goal is not only to provide their customers with high quality, affordable homes in some of the best land developments in Australia, but to ensure that they receive comprehensive and outstanding customer service throughout the home building journey.Your Responsibilities (but not limited to):Lead the estimating team in preparing detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects.Analyse project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive bid proposals.Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.Implement and manage estimating software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.Review and assess potential project risks and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations.Monitor and report on project budgets, costs, and performance metrics.Train, mentor, and develop junior estimators within the team.Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting residential construction.Skills and Attributes:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating within the residential construction industry.Proven experience in managing and leading an estimating team.Proficiency in Databuild.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong organisational and time management skills.Competitive salary on offer to reflect experienceProfessional development and training opportunitiesCompany-sponsored social events and team-building activitiesOpportunity for career advancementFriendly and collaborative work environmentFree parking & easy to get to office location directly off the M1In the past 5 years we have been extremely humbled to have placed over 14,000 people into meaningful employment .
