About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced ER/IR Advisor. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive performance management support and guidance across the AEG workforce. Key areas of focus include performance management, handling grievances, employee retention, and managing employee and industrial relations.
Key Responsibilities: Manage investigations, including warnings, show cause, and terminations.Facilitate mediation and grievance resolutions as needed.Support HR Business Partner in investigations and complex employee relations matters.Ensure compliance with industrial instruments, legislation, and regulations.Provide advice on workplace relations, modern awards, Fair Work legislation, and policies.Represent the organisation at Fair Work Commission and union engagements.Review HR policies to ensure compliance and best practices.Report on grievance trends and recommend improvements.Build strong stakeholder relationships to support performance management.Monitor and ensure compliance with employment legislation and standards.Oversee appraisals, development plans, and probation for teams.Collaborate on training programs for managers on Workplace Relations policies.Qualifications & Experience: HR qualification or equivalent experienceExperience in high-volume, fast-paced HR roles, employee relations and performance managementBackground in a customer-focused service industry and ability to influence and partner with all business levelsStrong knowledge of Awards and National Employment StandardsBenefits Attractive salary packageStunning Brisbane CBD office Flexible working arrangements50% discount on childcare gap feesFree gym membershipWellness benefits with partners TELUS Health, Bupa insurance benefit, and discounts at over 100 retailers.
