Do you want a high-flying career working for Australia's largest airline caterer?We have an exciting full-time opportunity available for an experiencedEquipment & Wash Supervisor to join our Brisbane Airport team.More about this role:This role is responsible for the efficient and fast-paced daily operations of the Dishwash (Commercial Stewarding), Bulk Equipment (movement and storage), Bulk Food, and Bar Packing sections.This role will ensure the Production sections have accurate quantities of Equipment and all bulk flights are packed according to the Galley Loading Plans (GLP) and are completed in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are:Assist the Equipment & Logistics Manager manage two sites.Work proactively on daily issues as they arise such as equipment shortages, delivery scheduling, changing flight schedules etc.Ensure adequate staff are rostered and cross-trained to complete the daily tasks.Ensure all flights are packed accurately according to the GLP for flight ready times.Record temperature of food before delivering the products to the Operations dept.Ensure that your team, in conjunction with the ULO, meet the Internal Delivery System (IDS) requirements.Ensure all Halal Food procedures are followed.Ensure no waste on bulk food and stock rotation policies are followed in line with the Dnata Catering Food Safety Manual.Set and monitor KPI's for each section Leading Hand.Adhere to the company's policy in relation to HALAL, HACCP, QSAI / Food Safety, Workplace Health and Safety, and customs.Support the ULO in the weekly and monthly stock take for each airline as required.File all documents as per the departments filing and record keeping system to ensure easy traceability and recovery of documents whenever required.Carry out additional duties as may be reasonably requested by Senior Management.What do you need to be successful in securing this role?Proven knowledge of logistics management and production process.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Strong problem-solving skills.Demonstrates strong organisational / time management skills.Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders in a high volume, high value environment.Sound knowledge of the airline catering industry.Competent in documentation and records management.Forklift license may be required.As you will be working in the Aviation Services industry, you will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check.What's in it for you?Competitive salary.5 weeks annual leave.Free onsite parking, meals, and uniforms.Career development and progression.Be part of a close-knit and dedicated team that are committed to excellence.Discounts at hundreds of retailers, discounted health insurance, and wellbeing resources including online exercise classes.About Us:We are Australia's largest and most admired inflight catering and retail partner.
